Job Description :-
About the Role: The QA/QC Painting & Insulation Inspector is responsible for ensuring that all painting and insulation works comply with project specifications, international standards, and quality requirements. The role involves inspection, documentation, and verification of materials and workmanship to maintain the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct inspections of surface preparation, painting, coating, and insulation activities in accordance with approved procedures and project specifications.

  • Review and verify materials, batch certificates, and coating system approvals prior to application.

  • Monitor and record environmental conditions during painting and insulation application.

  • Ensure correct application of paint, coating thickness, curing times, and insulation materials.

  • Prepare inspection and test reports, non-conformance reports (NCRs), and corrective action follow-ups.

  • Coordinate with the construction, engineering, and quality teams to resolve quality-related issues.

  • Verify that all work is carried out in accordance with safety and quality standards.

  • Participate in audits, inspections, and project quality meetings.

  • Maintain proper documentation and records as per project QA/QC procedures.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Engineering or a related discipline.

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in QA/QC inspection for painting and insulation works within oil & gas, petrochemical, or construction industries.

  • In-depth knowledge of international standards (e.g., ISO, SSPC, NACE, ASTM).

  • Certification such as NACE Level II/III or BGAS Grade II/III is an advantage.

  • Strong understanding of coating systems, insulation materials, and application processes.

  • Excellent command of written and spoken English.

  • Proficient in preparing QA/QC reports and documentation
