Job Description

For assignment to our Mozambique LNG Project, we are seeking a

Quality Assurance / Quality Control (QA/QC) Inspector who meets the qualifications outlined below.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of site experience in industrial facilities, refineries, and petrochemical projects,
  • Holder of at least one internationally recognized welding inspection certification, such as CSWIP 3.1, AWS-CWI, TWI, or equivalent,
  • Certified and/or technically knowledgeable in Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) methods in accordance with ASME / AWS / EN standards, including VT, PT, MT, UT, and RT,
  • Ability to work actively under site conditions with strong attention to detail,
  • Proficient in MS Office applications,
  • Strong analytical skills with a solution and results oriented approach,
  • Strong coordination and communication skills, team oriented, with the ability to ensure effective information flow,
  • Proficient English language skills, both written and verbal, sufficient for technical communication with the Client’s Representatives on site,
  • Ability to adapt to intensive workloads and flexible working hours.

Job Description

  • Execute and follow up on site applications of work plans prepared by the Welding Engineer,
  • Perform visual inspection (VT) of welded fabrications,
  • Monitor Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) activities, evaluate results, and prepare inspection reports,
  • Verify compliance of site welding activities with approved Welding Procedures (WPS / PQR / WPQ),
  • Inspect field welding activities to ensure compliance with quality standards and project technical specifications,
  • Report identified welding defects and non-conformities, initiate and follow up on corrective and preventive actions, and report to senior management,
  • Prepare daily site inspection and control reports in a complete and timely manner.
