Job Description

Pharmacist / Pharmacy Assistant Job Responsibilities:
The pharmacist has primary responsibility for the daily pharmacy operations and customer satisfaction and loyalty. His/Her duties shall include but are not limited to:
• Reviewing prescriptions to ensure accuracy, ascertain the needed ingredients, and evaluate suitability.
• Providing information and advice to customers regarding drug interactions, side effects, dosage and proper medication storage.
• Responsible for proper dispensing of medications to customers/patients in accordance with the policies, procedure and protocols in pharmaceutical distribution.
• Ensure that all applicable dispensing policies and procedure are carried out in accordance with the law.
• Analyzing prescribing trends to monitor patient compliance and prevent excessive usage or harmful interactions.
• Recording and report submission of dangerous drugs.
• Keeping record of stocks in the pharmacy and providing a list of required items on a daily basis.
• The pharmacist will be asked to pack goods from the warehouse that are required in the retail pharmacy.
• The pharmacist will also be responsible for tallying daily sales when required.
• Responsibilities will also include warehouse stock keeping, FIFO recording, packing goods from the warehouse and transporting to the retail pharmacies.
• Any other duties which he/she may be reasonably required to perform by the Employee

Work Hours & Benefits -
• 8-9 hours per day. Times are dependent of clinic times. Monday - Saturday. Sundays are off.
• Housing and transportation will be provided by the company.
• Meals/Groceries (where applicable) will be provided or alternatively a meal allowance will be added to your salary.

Pharmacist Job Requirements - Education, Experience, and Licensing:
• Graduate degree from an accredited pharmacy college D. Pharma
• At least 1-2 years working experience in dispensing medications
• Knowledge of MS applications, Word, Excel, Power-point.
• Keen on details
• Can work with minimum supervision
• Organized, fast learner and results oriented.
