Job Description

Position: Operations Manager
Location: Whispering Woods Resort, Off Mumbai Nasik Highway.
Department: Operations & Guest Services
Reports To: General Manager / Management
Work Mode: On-Site – Candidate will be required to stay at the property. Food & accommodation will be provided.

Role Overview
• We are seeking a highly responsible and hands-on Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day functioning of Whispering Woods Resort. The role demands close supervision and management of all operational aspects, including rooms, restaurant, housekeeping, front office, and guest services. The Operations Manager will ensure seamless coordination between departments, uphold service standards, and deliver exceptional guest experiences. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and experienced in handling resort operations end-to-end.

Key Responsibilities -

Resort Operations Management

• Oversee daily operations across rooms, restaurant, housekeeping, front office, and guest services.
• Ensure smooth coordination between all departments to deliver a seamless guest experience.
• Monitor staff performance, daily workflows, and adherence to SOPs.
• Ensure compliance with hygiene, safety, and quality standards.

Guest Experience & Service Excellence
• Act as a primary point of contact for escalated guest concerns.
• Ensure guest satisfaction through personalized service and quick resolution of issues.
• Regularly review guest feedback and implement improvements.

Team Leadership & Coordination
• Lead, guide, and motivate staff across multiple departments.
• Conduct regular briefings with department supervisors to align operations.
• Provide training and ensure service standards are consistently maintained.

Property & Resource Management
• Monitor the upkeep and maintenance of all resort facilities.
• Oversee inventory management and resource allocation.
• Ensure cost efficiency while maintaining quality standards.

Strategic & Daily Operations
• Collaborate with management to implement operational strategies and policies.
• Conduct daily operational checks and submit reports to the General Manager.
• Drive operational efficiency and implement best practices to enhance guest experience and profitability.

Requirements
• Proven experience in resort/hospitality operations management.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication skills in English, Hindi, and Marathi.
• Ability to multitask and handle operational challenges effectively.
• Hands-on approach with a strong sense of accountability.
• Flexible to work in a hospitality schedule, including weekends and holidays.
