Job Description

General Manager

We are looking to recruit a General Manager to lead our Ready-Mix Concrete operations in Malawi. The ideal candidate should have strong operational and administrative experience within the ready-mix or construction materials sector.

 

Key Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in the Ready-Mix or construction materials industry
  • Degree in Civil Engineering or a relevant technical field
  • Strong leadership, decision-making, and organisational abilities
  • Ability to manage operations, logistics, plant performance, and QC functions
  • Understanding of commercial and client relations within the construction sector
  • Excellent written and spoken English
  • Age range 35–45 years

  • Compensation:

  • Salary: USD 1,400–1,700 per month
  • Performance bonuses (total package can exceed USD 2,500 per month)
  • Shared accommodation provided
  • Return flight ticket every 2 years
  • 50 days home leave every 2 years
  • Work permit provided
