Job Description

We are looking to recruit an Auto Electrical Mechanic to join our Ready-Mix Concrete operations in Lilongwe, Malawi. The ideal candidate should have strong practical knowledge in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems in heavy vehicles and industrial equipment. Experience with concrete machinery such as batch plants, mixer trucks, or boom pumps will be a strong advantage. The candidate should also be capable of handling basic mechanical work when required.

Key Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in auto electrical maintenance and diagnostics
• Strong ability to troubleshoot wiring, alternators, starters, relays, and control systems
• Competent in basic mechanical repairs and truck servicing
• Experience with heavy-duty trucks, plant equipment, or construction machinery
• Background with concrete machinery preferred
• Knowledge of 12V and 24V systems
• Ability to read wiring diagrams and use diagnostic tools
• ITI or Diploma in Auto Electrical / Automotive Engineering
• Good spoken English
