Workshop Operation Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise daily Mechanical Workshop and Valve Section operations.
• Lead valve repair, maintenance, testing, inspection, and servicing activities.
• Ensure operational excellence, productivity, quality, and achievement of business objectives.
• Ensure compliance with applicable technical, QA/QC, HSE, and industry standards.
• Prepare, review, and approve technical documentation, procedures, reports, and records.
• Maintain accurate QA/QC records for all workshop, testing, repair, and maintenance activities.
• Manage workshop assets, equipment, tools, manpower, and resources effectively.
• Coordinate with clients, project teams, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
• Support and manage PMS and Call-Off Contract requirements.
• Contribute to business growth, customer development, certifications, and accreditations.
• Build and develop the Valve Section team through appropriate recruitment, JDs, KPIs, training, and performance management.
• Develop the facility further to meet the market requirement/challenges
• Ensure all activities are carried out safely, efficiently, and in accordance with company policies and applicable requirements.

Candidate Requirements

• Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or relevant technical qualification.

Experience (Minimum 5 Yrs.)

• Candidate should be able to run the IBU independently and to be aware of market trends and business opportunities.
• Strong experience in Valve Repair, Refurbishment, Servicing, Testing & Calibration
• Experience in Operation of Mechanical Workshop with basic exposure to Machine shop activities.
• Hands-on knowledge of valve repair, maintenance, testing, inspection, and troubleshooting on line/off line calibration of valves.
