Job Summary:

The Spare Parts Manager is responsible for overseeing the procurement, inventory management, storage, and distribution of automotive spare parts. The role ensures availability of parts, efficient stock control, vendor coordination, and supports service operations to achieve high customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end spare parts operations including ordering, stocking, and distribution
• Maintain optimal inventory levels to avoid overstocking or stock-outs
• Coordinate with suppliers, dealers, and OEMs for timely procurement
• Monitor demand trends and forecast spare parts requirements
• Implement inventory control systems and ensure accurate stock records
• Ensure proper storage, handling, and safety of spare parts
• Analyze slow-moving and non-moving inventory and take corrective action
• Collaborate with service and workshop teams to ensure parts availability
• Negotiate pricing and terms with vendors to optimize cost
• Prepare MIS reports, stock audits, and performance reports
• Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards
