Job Opening – Senior Surveyor with AutoCAD

Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Senior Surveyor with strong AutoCAD skills to handle land and construction surveying activities. The candidate will be responsible for conducting site surveys, setting-out works, preparing survey drawings and as-built documentation, and ensuring construction activities are carried out according to approved drawings and project specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Land & Construction Surveying

• Conduct topographical, boundary and construction surveys.

• Establish site control points, benchmarks and reference coordinates.

• Perform setting-out activities for buildings, roads, utilities and infrastructure.

• Carry out leveling, alignment and elevation measurements.

2. AutoCAD Drafting & Drawings

• Prepare and modify survey drawings using AutoCAD.

• Develop topographical survey plans, layout drawings and as-built drawings.

• Prepare cross-sections, longitudinal sections and contour maps.

• Convert field survey data into accurate CAD drawings.

• Review construction drawings and identify discrepancies.

3. Site Coordination & Monitoring

• Coordinate with site engineers, consultants and contractors.

• Verify excavation levels, foundation positions, road alignments and structural locations.

• Monitor construction activities against approved drawings.

• Conduct regular site inspections and dimensional checks.

4. Survey Equipment & Documentation

• Operate Total Station, GPS/GNSS, Auto Level and other surveying instruments.

• Ensure surveying equipment is properly calibrated and maintained.

• Download, process and analyze survey data.

• Conduct as-built surveys and prepare accurate documentation.

• Maintain survey records, field notes and measurement reports.

Required Skills & Technical Knowledge:

• Advanced knowledge of AutoCAD 2D drafting.

• Strong experience in land and construction surveying.

• Hands-on experience with Total Station, GPS/GNSS and Auto Level.

• Knowledge of coordinates, levels, benchmarks and setting-out procedures.

• Ability to prepare topographical and as-built drawings.

• Ability to read and interpret engineering and construction drawings.

• Knowledge of civil infrastructure, roads and building construction.
