Location – Gambia (west Africa)

We are currently seeking to recruit a highly experienced Senior Mechanic to manage and oversee the maintenance operations of our fleet of 100 buses. The position is based in The Gambia, West Africa.

The ideal candidate must have 15–20 years of hands-on experience in heavy-duty vehicle maintenance and fleet management. The candidate must be a qualified mechanic with strong technical expertise specifically in Mercedes-Benz (Benz) and MAN buses. Additionally, the candidate should have previously served as Head of Workshop, Fleet Manager, or in a similar leadership role overseeing a large fleet operation.

Key requirements include:

• Extensive experience in diagnosing and repairing heavy-duty buses
• Proven experience managing or heading the maintenance of a large fleet (preferably 100+ vehicles)
• Specialized knowledge of Benz and MAN vehicle systems
• Strong leadership and workshop management skills
• Ability to supervise technical teams and ensure preventive maintenance schedules are properly implemented
