Job Description

SENIOR INTERIOR DESIGNER (Planning)

Location: Mulund East, Mumbai
Experience: 5–10 Years
Salary: As per Market Standards 

Required Skills:

  • Advanced AutoCAD proficiency
  • Working knowledge of SketchUp and/or 3ds Max
  • Strong understanding of luxury interior materials and detailing
  • Expertise in space planning and execution drawings
  • Excellent presentation and client communication skills
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead space planning for luxury residences, villas, offices, retail, and hospitality projects
  • Develop innovative layouts that balance aesthetics and functionality
  • Create and present design concepts, mood boards, and material palettes
  • Select premium materials, finishes, furniture, lighting, and décor elements
  • Prepare and oversee detailed working drawings, including:
    • Layout plans
    • Electrical and lighting plans
    • Ceiling and flooring details
    • Furniture and joinery drawings
  • Conduct client meetings and presentations
  • Understand and translate client requirements into practical design solutions
  • Mentor junior designers and review design outputs
  • Coordinate with project managers, contractors, vendors, consultants, and site teams
  • Ensure design intent and quality standards are maintained during project execution
  • Work within project budgets while delivering premium interior solutions

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design or Architecture
  • 5–10 years of experience in luxury residential and commercial interior projects
  • Proven experience handling projects from concept development to execution planning

Preferred Experience:

  • Luxury apartments, villas, offices, retail, or hospitality projects
  • Turnkey interior projects
  • Vendor and supplier network within Mumbai
