About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented QA Automation Engineer with strong expertise in device automation, manual testing, and automation scripting using Java and Selenium. The role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining test automation frameworks while ensuring the highest level of product quality across web, mobile, and device platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

          Design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks using Java and

Selenium/Appium.

          Perform manual and automated testing for web, mobile, and device-based applications.

     Plan, create, and execute test cases and automation scripts to validate functionality and performance.

          Conduct device automation testing on Android/iOS or hardware-integrated products.

          Identify, log, and track defects using standard tools (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla, TestRail).

     Work collaboratively with development, product, and QA teams to ensure thorough test coverage.

     Participate in sprint reviews, stand-ups, and provide QA inputs for requirement and design discussions.

     Maintain test data, environments, and ensure continuous improvement of automation coverage.

          Generate and share detailed test execution and defect analysis reports.

          Stay current with emerging automation tools, frameworks, and QA best practices.

Skills & Qualifications:

          Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline.

          3–4 years of hands-on experience in QA, with a strong focus on automation testing.

          Proficient in Java programming and Selenium WebDriver automation.

          Experience in device automation testing (Android/iOS or embedded devices).

          Strong foundation in manual testing, test case design, and execution.

          Good understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.

          Experience with test management and bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail).

          Familiarity with version control systems like Git/GitHub.

          Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and documentation skills.

Preferred:

          Experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, Maven, GitLab CI).

          Knowledge of API automation (Postman, RestAssured).

          Familiarity with performance or security testing tools.

          QA certification (e.g., ISTQB Foundation Level) is an advantage
