Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Operations Auditor to independently evaluate and improve operational processes across the organization. The ideal candidate will conduct audits of production, inventory, procurement, warehousing, costing, and accounting operations to ensure accuracy, compliance, operational efficiency, and effective utilization of company resources.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct operational audits across production, inventory, procurement, stores, warehousing, logistics, and finance functions.
• Verify that physical inventory matches system and accounting records.
• Review inventory movements, stock controls, and reconciliation processes.
• Audit procurement activities, supplier transactions, and purchasing procedures.
• Evaluate manufacturing processes to identify operational inefficiencies, wastage, and cost-saving opportunities.
• Review costing methodologies and ensure accurate product costing.
• Monitor compliance with company policies, SOPs, and internal controls.
• Identify operational risks, fraud indicators, and process gaps, and recommend corrective actions.
• Prepare detailed audit reports with findings, root cause analysis, and recommendations.
• Track implementation of audit recommendations and verify corrective actions.
• Coordinate with department heads to improve operational efficiency and internal controls.
• Support management with data analysis, process improvements, and performance monitoring.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
• Professional certifications such as CIA, CISA, CMA, CPA, ACCA, or CA will be an added advantage.
• 5–10 years of experience in Operations Audit, Internal Audit, Cost Control, or Manufacturing Audit.
• Experience in manufacturing, furniture, industrial equipment, FMCG, or similar industries is preferred.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of operational auditing principles and internal controls.
• Good understanding of manufacturing processes, inventory management, procurement, and costing.
• Experience in stock verification and inventory reconciliation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent report writing and documentation skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar).
• Ability to work independently with high integrity and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Experience

• Experience auditing production plants or manufacturing facilities.
• Knowledge of cost accounting and inventory valuation.
• Familiarity with risk assessment and fraud detection techniques.
• Experience implementing process improvement initiatives.
