MECHANICAL DRAFTING ENGINEER

Location: Nerul, Navi Mumbai
Experience: 04+ years
Salary: 06- 07 LPA

Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Mechanical Draftsman to join the company's engineering team. 
The candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate mechanical drawings and layouts for HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, and utility systems based on engineering specifications and project requirements. 

Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare detailed 2D mechanical drawings using AutoCAD.  
* Develop layouts for HVAC systems, ducting, piping, ventilation, and utility services.  
* Create shop drawings, GA drawings, and coordination drawings.  
* Coordinate with Mechanical Engineers, Architects, Structural, and Electrical teams for design integration.  
* Ensure drawings comply with project standards, codes, and client requirements.  
* Revise and update drawings based on design changes and site feedback.  
* Maintain drawing records and document control procedures.  
* Assist in clash detection and coordination using BIM tools (preferred).  

Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Diploma or ITI in Mechanical Engineering / Drafting.  
* Proficiency in AutoCAD (mandatory).  
* Knowledge of HVAC, Plumbing, and Fire Fighting drafting.  
* Familiarity with MEP coordination drawings.  
* Basic knowledge of Revit MEP will be an added advantage.  
* Good understanding of engineering drawing standards and construction practices.  
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Experience: 
* Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in mechanical drafting.  
* Experience in industrial projects preferred.
