LIFTING ENGINEER

Location: Mozambique

Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Lifting Engineer to oversee and manage lifting operations for a large-scale industrial project in Mozambique. The candidate will ensure all lifting activities are safely planned and executed in compliance with project procedures and HSE standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review lifting plans
• Conduct technical evaluation for critical lifting activities
• Verify suitability of cranes and lifting equipment
• Coordinate with crane operators, riggers, banksmen, and site teams
• Ensure lifting equipment certifications and inspections are valid
• Monitor lifting operations and ensure compliance with HSE procedures
• Maintain proper documentation and safety records
   

Required Qualification:

• Degree in Mechanical, Civil, or related Engineering discipline
• Minimum 5 years of experience in lifting operations
• Experience in Oil & Gas, EPC, industrial plants, or large construction projects
   

Strong Knowledge:

• • Crane operations
  • Rigging equipment
  • Load charts
  • Lifting plans
  • Good English communication skills
     

Preferred Certifications:

• LEEA
• LOLER
• Appointed Person
• Rigging & Lifting Certifications
