General Manager for Tardeo Mumbai

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced General Manager – Building Division to lead multiple construction projects, oversee overall project execution, and ensure timely delivery, quality standards, cost control, and profitability. The candidate should have extensive experience in high-rise construction, strong leadership skills, and expertise in project planning and execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage multiple building construction projects from planning to completion.

• Ensure timely project delivery while maintaining quality and safety standards.

• Oversee project planning, budgeting, billing, cost control, and resource allocation.

• Develop and implement project execution strategies and performance KPIs.

• Monitor project progress, budgets, profitability, and overall performance.

• Review tenders, contracts, commercial terms, and project cost estimates.

• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, vendors, and internal teams.

• Conduct regular project reviews, site visits, and project audits.

• Prepare project dashboards and performance reports for senior management.

• Manage manpower planning, team performance, and conflict resolution.

• Ensure statutory compliance and minimize project delays, penalties, and cost overruns.

• Lead negotiations with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.

Required Skills & Experience

• Extensive experience in high-rise building construction is mandatory.

• Hands-on experience with Aluminium Formwork is mandatory.

• Strong knowledge of project planning, execution, billing, contracts, and cost management.

• Excellent leadership, team management, and decision-making skills.

• Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and relevant construction software.

Education

BE/B.Tech in Civil Engineering from a recognized university. A postgraduate diploma in Construction Management will be an added advantage.

Working Conditions

• Work location: Tardeo, Mumbai.

• Minimum 60 hours per week or as required by project/site requirements.
