Electrical Engineer – Sales & Estimation

Location: Bangalore, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Jaipur

Experience: 5–10 Years

Salary: Up to ₹12 LPA
 

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer with expertise in Sales Support, Estimation, and Tendering. The ideal candidate should possess strong technical knowledge of electrical systems along with commercial understanding to prepare accurate project estimates, support business development activities, and coordinate with clients, vendors, and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Estimation & Costing-

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for electrical projects including LT/HT panels, wiring, lighting systems, substations, and related works.
• Analyze drawings, BOQs, specifications, and tender documents.
• Perform material, labor, and overhead cost calculations.
• Float RFQs and obtain competitive quotations from suppliers and vendors.
• Prepare techno-commercial proposals and cost summaries.

Sales Support-

• Support sales and business development teams during pre-sales activities.
• Attend client meetings and understand technical requirements.
• Provide technical solutions and clarifications to clients.
• Assist in preparing technical presentations and commercial proposals.

Tendering-

• Review tender documents and identify project requirements.
• Prepare and submit tender documentation.
• Ensure compliance with technical and commercial specifications.

Coordination-

• Coordinate with design, procurement, and project execution teams.
• Liaise with vendors for pricing and technical information.
• Follow up with clients regarding proposal status and approvals.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 5–10 years of experience in electrical estimation, tendering, or sales support.
• Strong understanding of LT/HT systems, electrical panels, wiring, lighting, and substations.
• Experience in BOQ preparation, costing, and techno-commercial proposals.
• Excellent communication and client-handling skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and estimation-related documentation.

Preferred Industry Background:
Electrical contracting, EPC, MEP, Power Distribution, Industrial Projects, Infrastructure, Building Services, or Engineering Solutions.
