Job Title: Construction Planner – Civil Infrastructure

Location: Botswana

Experience: 10–12+ Years

Salary: Around USD 2,000/- per month (Negotiable based on experience)

Qualification:

• B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering
• Advanced certification in Primavera P6 and/or MS Project
• CCS (Candy) Planning certification preferred

Job Description:

An excellent opportunity is available for an experienced Construction Planner to join a reputed infrastructure contractor executing large-scale civil engineering projects in Botswana.

The ideal candidate should possess strong planning expertise with hands-on site execution experience and should be capable of developing, monitoring, and controlling project schedules from project initiation to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop project baseline schedules using Primavera P6/MS Project
• Prepare Work Breakdown Structures (WBS)
• Develop project critical path schedules
• Monitor project progress and update schedules
• Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports
• Generate S-Curves and resource histograms
• Perform delay analysis and Extension of Time (EOT) planning
• Coordinate with project managers, commercial and site teams
• Forecast manpower, plant and equipment requirements
• Integrate subcontractor schedules into the master programme

Candidate Profile:

• 10–12 years of Civil Construction experience
• Minimum 5 years of site execution experience before moving into planning
• Experience in Roads, Bridges, Dams, Highways, Power Plants or Infrastructure Projects
• Strong knowledge of Critical Path Method (CPM)
• Excellent command of Primavera P6 and/or MS Project
• Experience in CCS (Candy) is an added advantage
• Good analytical and reporting skills
