Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Branch Manager to oversee and manage branch operations in Hyderabad. The ideal candidate should have strong operational knowledge in shipping, container operations, and customs coordination, along with proven leadership and client-handling skills.
 

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee EDI updation and ensure accuracy of operational data.
• Manage and verify shipping documents including Form 11, POD, POL, IGM/EGM, and Vessel Details.
• Ensure timely and accurate IGM/EGM preparation and filing in coordination with customs authorities.
• Handle import and export movements, including monitoring cargo flow and documentation.
• Manage empty container movements, empty repo, and related operational planning.
• Conduct and coordinate container surveys, including empty container survey experience.
• Liaise with Customs authorities and ensure smooth clearance through effective custom liaisoning.
• Oversee ICD operations, ensuring compliance with operational and statutory requirements.
• Manage ODC cargo, Line business, and third-party business operations.
• Maintain strong client relationships and address operational or service-related issues proactively.
• Coordinate surveys, third-party vendors, and internal teams to ensure seamless operations.
• Lead and guide branch staff, ensuring efficient job allocation and performance monitoring.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, SOPs, and statutory regulations.

Key Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of shipping operations and documentation
• Hands-on experience in EDI systems and customs procedures
• Expertise in IGM/EGM, container operations, and ICD functioning
• Excellent client relationship management and communication skills
• Ability to manage surveys, ODC cargo, and third-party logistics
• Strong leadership, coordination, and problem-solving abilities
